Landlords will need documents and information that allow them to profile your financial situation and run background and credit checks. Typically a landlord will ask you to bring paycheck receipts from your current job (or last job if you just moved), yearly bank account reports, and statements from previous landlords or co-workers. Make sure that you ask a landlord what they will need from you before going to attend a meeting, especially if you are going to sign a lease or rental application.
